While art is undoubtedly different from design, I included my pixel art as part of my portfolio design because I feel that each persons artistic output (whether that be visual art, literature, music etc) offers a window into their soul and way of thinking. I want my portfolio to come off as something personal that shows a human side of me and who I am, and I hope that you get a sense of that while browsing here.
You might have guessed I'm a pretty big video game nerd from the fact I decided to use pixel art in the design of my portfolio, and you'd be right. I aspire to infuse the same joy and delight I got from video games into the experiences that I design for.
